I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I love the adorable clothes they come out with but hate how much money I end up spending on them! Of course, that's not the stores fault, it's my lack of self-control when it comes to all things "cute". Which is why I stay away from puppy stores too! (Among a few other reasons of course). For those of you who shop at Gymboree, you are very familiar with Gymbucks, I'm sure. Again, I love them too but they are devious little things that lure you in to spend them PLUS some! Yesterday marked the first day to use your Gymbucks and they introduced new lines of clothing to coincide with that. All I have to say is my Gymbucks are gone and Mia has some pretty cute additions to her wardrobe. Here are some of my purchases:
Polka Dot Stripe Tiered TopPoodle Cuff Jean
Smocked Flower Pocket TopFlower Ruffle Cuff Capri
Patchwork Flutter Sleeve DressFlower Bow Dress
Daisy Butterfly TeeFlower Cuff Jean
Daddy Loves Me Double Sleeve TeeCanvas Heart Sneaker
Flower Bow TankiniDaisy Tiered One-Piece Swimsuit

Are they adorable or what?

1/3 OB Appointment

Nothing too exciting to report. My OB decided that I could go ahead and keep my growth scan appointment w/my Peri on 2/14 and I found out that at my next appointment I will be receiving my RhoGAM shot(this is because my blood type is A-) and I get to do the one hour glucose challenge.  I can't wait to drink the flat, sugary drink that I've heard so many wonderful things about....please note sarcasm ;-)  The big topic discussed at my appointment and that will be continued at my next appointment is whether or not to stay on my daily Lovenox shots.  For those of you that don't know, I have MTHFR and was on baby aspirin and Folgard prior to becoming pregnant. Once I became pregnant I started daily injections of Lovenox. Now that I am over half way through my pregnancy my Peri and my OB have said I could go off of the Lovenox and switch back to the baby aspirin. The Hematologist basically said it's up to me, so my dilemma is... Stay on an anticoagulant, in which case I will switch from Lovenox to Heparin closer to my due date because it leaves your system quicker and I will have a scheduled induction due to being on the medication. OR discontinue the anticoagulant and hope that everything continues going well with my pregnancy, both doctors say that it should.  However, you know me and I'm a worrier and second guesser so if anything were to go wrong I would definitely be saying, what if...  So that is where we are w/that. I have a couple more questions for my OB at my next appointment in order to help us make our final decision.

My next appointment is 1/30.

The Latest Visit to the Perinatologist

Last Tuesday I had another visit to the Peri, the Dr wanted to do a fetal echocardiogram and I am happy to say that everything looked great! When the tech first started the ultrasound, the very first shot was of Mia being a little contortionist in there with her foot over head!

After all of her measurements were taken and the echo was done, we got to see a few 3d pictures of our little girl. They just made me even more eager to meet Mia, can't wait to kiss her little face!

Mia weighed 1.7 pounds at that appointment. My Peri said that I do not have to go back to him for 6 - 8 weeks, at which time he wants to do another ultrasound to check her growth. If my regular OB is planning to do one though, then I am officially released from the Peri! My next OB appt is Tuesday morning, I will let everyone know how it goes.

Happy New Year!
